What It Does and What It Does Not Do
The device makes a short sound and an optional flash. There is no shock, no spray and nothing your dog wears. It is designed to interrupt barking, not to cause pain.

Who It Suits and Who It Does Not
A good fit
- Alert barking at the gate, the fence line, delivery bikes or people walking past.
- Habitual barking that carries on whether or not you are home. Automatic mode runs around the clock.
- More than one dog. Every dog in range gets the same interrupt.
- Dogs that will not tolerate wearing a collar.
Not the right tool

- Fearful or reactive barking at people or other dogs. Work with a qualified behaviourist first.
- Dogs with significant hearing loss. They may not hear the tone.
- Puppies under 6 months or dogs over 8 years. We do not recommend it for them.
- Barking behind a solid barrier. Ultrasonic sound will not pass through brick walls, solid fences or closed windows.

Will I hear the sound?
Most adults hear nothing. Some people, especially children and teenagers, may notice a faint high pitch. If the strobe is switched on you will see a flash when the device responds. The strobe can be switched off.
Does it hurt my dog?
There is no shock, no spray and no contact. The device makes a short sound and an optional flash. It is designed to interrupt barking, not to cause pain. Many dogs pause and move on. If your dog seems unsettled by it, switch it off and message us.
Does it work while I am out?
Yes. Automatic mode listens around the clock and responds whether or not you are home. It is built for barking that happens whether or not you are there. If the barking only starts when you leave, or comes with crying, howling or pacing, that points to separation distress. A device is not the answer for that. Does it work on more than one dog?
Yes. Every dog within its range hears the same interrupt at the same moment. One device can cover a multi-dog yard.
Will it react to my neighbour's dog?
It responds to any barking it detects within about 15 metres. It cannot tell one dog from another. That helps if the barking dog is next door and in range, for example at a palisade or mesh boundary. It cannot help through a solid wall. Our neighbour's dog page has a free range check.
Does it work through walls or windows?
No. Ultrasonic sound does not pass well through solid barriers. Place the device in the same room or outdoor area as the barking, with a clear line to where your dog usually stands.
Can I leave it outside?
It is splash-proof, not waterproof. Mount it somewhere sheltered such as under an eave, on a veranda or on a covered patio. Keep it out of direct rain.
How is it powered?
It is USB rechargeable. There are no batteries to buy or replace.
How long does it take to see a change?
